VIHA & MARKET HOUSING
ACCESS TO THE VIHA ASSISTED LIVING PROGRAM Assisted Living is a program that offers housing with in-home support services for seniors. This program is funded by VIHA in partnership with private and non-profit operators. In most Assisted Living settings, the fee is based on a fixed percentage of monthly income. The fee includes the cost of rent and support services, such as meals, housekeeping and assistance with personal care. Eligibility for access to this program is determined by VIHA (Home and Community Care Case Manager). To accommodate this interest, we have developed a "wait list" for prospective applicants.
