School Age Care
SAC Grades 1 to 7

Our School Age Program includes children in grades 1 to 7 at local elementary and middle schools.  Each day we send out a fleet of vehicles to deliver children to their schools in the morning and meet them again in the afternoon. Once back at the centre, we commence an engaging program of indoor and outdoor activities.  The children each have their own cubby space in a room full or age-appropriate toys, puzzles, books, games and crafts.  On sunny days, we are most often found on our school age care playground!

Each group leader creates a safe, inclusive space and strong relationships with the children to support them as they develop physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.  We offer the children many opportunities to try new activities and experiences.  Clubs are one way for children to get involved and we offer programs led by skilled insructors, including art club, quilting, swimming lessons, choir and dance.

School Age Care at the Cridge Centre includes non-instructional days, like Pro-D days, winter break and spring break.  We are currently offering care to children who attend school at: Cloverdale, Doncaster, George Jay, Quadra, Oaklands and Elizabeth Buckley Elementary Schools and Lansdowne Middle School.  If you would like more information please contact the School Age Care office at 250-995-6407 or cheyd@cridge.org.  Application forms and other information can be found here
