Kindercare

Kindergarten is a special time for children and families.  To help with this unique transition, Cridge School Age Care has a program tailored to children in Kindergarten.  Two staff members are committed to meeting your child when they finish school each day and bringing them back to the centre to eat lunch as a group.  Since kindergarten is only a half day, there is ample time for crafts, stories, songs and physical activities in a safe small group context.  The Kindercare group often uses this extra time to go on picnics, or visit local beaches and parks.  The focus of the group is on social and emotional development in a secure, fun, interactive play-based program.

Our Kindercare group currently serves children enrolled in morning classes at George Jay, Cloverdale, Quadra and Oaklands Elementary Schools.  Please use our School Age Care application form to enroll your child, found here.
