SPECIAL - OUR NEW BUILDING

THE CRIDGE VILLAGE CHILD CARE CENTRE
The new Cridge Child Care Centre is being made possible through
two donations, both of $1,000,000.00, by Harlan Sanders Foundation
and the Queen Alexandra Foundation,
together with a significant number of other donations and a $105,000
grant from the Provincial Government.
The building comprises 16,400 square feet of space built on three
levels and connects onto an excellent playground/adventure area
at the rear of the building. It has Nursery, Daycare, Preschool,
and School Age Care programs and in association with the Elizabeth
Buckley School for hearing and hearing-impaired children accommodates
a Kindergarten and grades one to four. In total, the building accommodates
217 children. The access to the new Centre will be from Hillside
Avenue, thus avoiding the somewhat circuitous road system off Haultain,
Empire and Kings Road.
Further details, information and registration can be obtained from
The Cridge Centre main office, 1307 Hillside Avenue, phone 384-8058,
